Ingredients

  • 2 salmon fillets
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • Fresh parsley for garnish
  • Lemon slices for serving

Instructions

Prepare the Salmon

  • Pat salmon dry using paper towels. This helps it cook better. Season both sides with salt, pepper and paprika.

Make the Marinade

  • In a bowl, mix olive oil, honey, soy sauce, lemon juice and garlic. Stir well until everything blends together.

Marinate the Fish

  • Brush the marinade over the salmon. Let it sit for 10–15 minutes. This helps the flavor soak in.

Heat the Pan

  • Place a pan on medium heat. Add a little olive oil. Let it warm before cooking the salmon.

Cook the Salmon

  • Place salmon skin-side down in the pan. Cook for 4–5 minutes. Do not move it too much.

Flip Carefully

  • Gently flip the salmon using a spatula. Cook the other side for 4–5 minutes. The inside should stay juicy.

Add Extra Glaze

  • Brush leftover marinade on top while cooking. This adds a sweet and rich flavor.

Check Doneness

  • The salmon should flake easily with a fork. It should look pink and moist inside.

Rest the Salmon

  • Remove from heat and let it rest for 2 minutes. This keeps the juices locked in.

Serve and Garnish

  • Place salmon on a plate. Add fresh parsley and lemon slices. Serve warm.
