Ingredients
  

  • Lump crab meat 450 g, picked clean
  • Cream cheese 225 g, softened
  • Mayonnaise ½ cup
  • Sour cream ¼ cup
  • Dijon mustard 1 tablespoon
  • Worcestershire sauce 1 teaspoon
  • Old Bay seasoning 1½ teaspoons
  • Garlic powder ½ teaspoon
  • Lemon juice 1 tablespoon
  • Cheddar cheese ½ cup, shredded
  • Parmesan cheese ¼ cup, grated
  • Salt ¼ teaspoon
  • Black pepper ¼ teaspoon
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions
  

Preheat the Oven

  • Preheat your oven to 180°C. Lightly grease a baking dish and set it aside.

Soften the Cream Cheese

  • Place cream cheese in a bowl. Let it sit until soft and easy to mix.

Mix the Base

  • Add mayonnaise and sour cream to cream cheese. Stir until smooth and creamy.

Add Seasonings

  • Add Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, Old Bay, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.

Add Lemon Juice

  • Pour in fresh lemon juice. Stir gently to brighten the flavor.

Fold in Cheeses

  • Add shredded cheddar and parmesan cheese. Mix gently until combined.

Add the Crab Meat

  • Carefully fold in crab meat. Do not break large pieces too much.

Transfer to Baking Dish

  • Spoon the mixture into the prepared baking dish. Spread evenly.

Smooth the Top

  • Use a spoon to smooth the surface. This helps even baking.

Bake the Dip

  • Place dish in oven. Bake for twenty-five minutes until bubbly and lightly golden.

Rest Before Serving

  • Remove from oven. Let it rest for five minutes before serving.

Garnish and Serve

  • Sprinkle fresh parsley on top. Serve warm with bread or crackers.
