Ingredients

  • 100 g Stilton cheese crumbled
  • 100 g cream cheese softened
  • 50 ml double cream
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon mustard optional
  • Fresh chives or parsley finely chopped for garnish
  • Crackers or vegetable sticks for serving

Instructions

Prepare the Cheese

  • Place the crumbled Stilton in a medium mixing bowl. Break down large chunks using a fork to make it smooth.

Add Cream Cheese

  • Add softened cream cheese to the Stilton. Mix gently with a wooden spoon until the texture is smooth and creamy.

Stir in Cream

  • Slowly pour in double cream while stirring. Mix until the dip is silky and well combined.

Add Flavor

  • Add Worcestershire sauce, black pepper and mustard if using. Stir until the flavors are evenly distributed.

Taste and Adjust

  • Taste your dip. Add more pepper or mustard if needed to achieve the desired flavor balance.

Garnish

  • Sprinkle chopped chives or parsley over the top. It adds color and a fresh aroma to your dip.

Chill (Optional)

  • Cover the dip and refrigerate for 30 minutes. Chilling helps the flavors to develop fully.

Serve

  • Place the dip in a serving bowl. Serve with crackers, breadsticks, or fresh vegetables. Enjoy immediately for the best taste.

Notes

  • For a milder flavor, use a softer blue cheese instead of Stilton.
  • Use a hand mixer for an extra smooth consistency.
  • Add a teaspoon of lemon juice to brighten flavors.
  • Sprinkle crushed walnuts or pecans on top for added crunch.
  • Prepare the dip a day ahead; it keeps well in the fridge for two days.
