Ingredients

  • 4 ripe peaches
  • 1 cup fresh or frozen raspberries
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 2 cups vanilla ice cream
  • ½ cup whipped cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract optional
  • Fresh mint leaves optional for garnish

Instructions

Prepare the Peaches

  • Wash the peaches well under cold water. Cut them in half and remove the stones. If you like soft peaches, boil them briefly and peel the skin. Slice them gently and set aside.

Make Raspberry Sauce

  • Take a saucepan and add raspberries, sugar and lemon juice. Cook on low heat. Stir slowly until the raspberries break down. This takes about five minutes and smells sweet and fruity.

Blend the Sauce

  • Remove the raspberry mixture from heat. Let it cool slightly. Pour it into a blender. Blend until smooth. You can strain it to remove seeds if you want a smooth texture.

Prepare Serving Glasses

  • Take clean serving glasses or bowls. Add a scoop of vanilla ice cream at the bottom. This creates a creamy base and keeps the dessert cold and rich.

Add Peach Slices

  • Place peach slices gently over the ice cream. Arrange them nicely so they look pretty. The fresh peaches add natural sweetness and a soft texture.

Pour Raspberry Sauce

  • Drizzle the raspberry sauce over the peaches. Let it flow naturally. The bright red color makes the dessert look very attractive and inviting.

Add Whipped Cream

  • Add a small amount of whipped cream on top. This makes the dessert extra creamy. It also balances the sweet and fruity flavors nicely.

Add Extra Flavor

  • You can add a drop of vanilla extract if you like. It gives a warm and soft aroma. This step is optional but makes the taste deeper.

Garnish the Dessert

  • Add fresh mint leaves on top for a fresh look. You can also add extra raspberries. This step makes the dessert look like it came from a café.

Serve and Enjoy

  • Serve immediately while cold. Enjoy every spoon. The mix of cold ice cream and sweet fruit is refreshing and delicious.

Notes

  • Use ripe peaches for the best flavor
  • Try canned peaches if fresh ones are not available
  • Use strawberry sauce instead of raspberry for a twist
  • Add crushed nuts for a crunchy texture
  • Use Greek yogurt instead of ice cream for a lighter option
  • Chill serving glasses before use for extra freshness
