  • ½ cup melted butter

For the Filling:

  • 2 cups cream cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ¾ cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup melted chocolate
  • 1 cup crushed Maltesers

For the Topping:

  • ½ cup whole Maltesers
  • Chocolate shavings optional

Instructions

Crush the Biscuits

  • Place biscuits in a food processor. Crush until fine crumbs form. If you do not have one, use a rolling pin and zip bag.

Mix with Butter

  • Add melted butter to biscuit crumbs. Mix until it looks like wet sand. This will form the base.

Prepare the Base

  • Press the mixture into a springform pan. Flatten evenly using a spoon. Place it in the fridge to set.

Beat the Cream Cheese

  • In a bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. This step ensures a creamy texture without lumps.

Add Sugar and Cream

  • Add powdered sugar and heavy cream. Beat until thick and smooth. The mixture should be fluffy.

Add Melted Chocolate

  • Pour in melted chocolate slowly. Mix gently until combined. This gives rich chocolate flavor.

Fold in Maltesers

  • Add crushed Maltesers to the mixture. Fold gently. This adds crunch and fun texture.

Add Filling to Base

  • Take the chilled base from fridge. Pour the filling over it. Spread evenly with a spatula.

Chill the Cheesecake

  • Place the cheesecake in the fridge for at least 4 hours. It should become firm and set.

Decorate the Top

  • Add whole Maltesers on top. Sprinkle chocolate shavings if you like. This makes it look beautiful.

Slice and Serve

  • Carefully remove from the pan. Slice and serve chilled. Enjoy your homemade Mary Berry Malteser Cheesecake recipe.

Notes

  • Use dark chocolate for deeper flavor
  • Add caramel drizzle for extra sweetness
  • Use Oreo base instead of biscuits
