Ingredients

  • 1 cup strawberries sliced
  • 1 cup grapes halved
  • 1 apple chopped
  • 1 banana sliced
  • 1 orange peeled and segmented
  • 1/2 cup pineapple chunks
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon orange zest optional

Instructions

Wash the Fruits

  • Start by washing all the fruits under cold water. This removes dirt and keeps them fresh. Pat them dry with a clean towel before cutting.

Prepare the Fruits

  • Peel and chop the apple, banana and orange. Slice strawberries and cut grapes in half. Try to keep pieces similar in size for even mixing.

Add Fruits to Bowl

  • Place all the chopped fruits into a large mixing bowl. Mix gently using a spoon. Be careful not to crush soft fruits like bananas.

Make the Dressing

  • In a small bowl, mix honey and lemon juice. Stir well until smooth. This dressing adds a light sweetness and keeps fruits fresh.

Combine Everything

  • Pour the dressing over the fruit mixture. Add orange zest if using. Gently toss everything together so all fruits are coated.

Chill the Salad

  • Cover the bowl and place it in the fridge for 10–15 minutes. This helps the flavors blend together and makes the salad more refreshing.

Taste and Adjust

  • Take the salad out and taste it. Add more honey or lemon juice if needed. Adjust based on your preference.

Serve Fresh

  • Serve the fruit salad in bowls. Enjoy it cold for the best taste. It is perfect as a light dessert or snack.

Notes

  • Use seasonal fruits for best flavor
  • Add mint leaves for freshness
  • Use lime juice instead of lemon
  • Add yogurt for a creamy version
  • Avoid overmixing to keep fruit intact
  • Chill longer for stronger flavor
