Ingredients

  • 200 g dark chocolate
  • 150 g butter
  • 200 g sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 100 g all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon salt

Instructions

Melt Chocolate and Butter

  • Break the chocolate into pieces. Add butter and melt together in a bowl. Use low heat or microwave. Stir until smooth and glossy.

Mix Sugar and Eggs

  • In another bowl, add sugar and eggs. Whisk until light and slightly thick. This step helps create a soft texture.

Combine Chocolate Mixture

  • Pour the melted chocolate into the egg mixture. Stir gently. Make sure everything blends well without overmixing.

Add Dry Ingredients

  • Sift flour, cocoa powder and salt into the mixture. Fold gently using a spatula. Do not overmix to keep brownies soft.

Add Vanilla Flavor

  • Pour in vanilla extract. Stir lightly. This adds a warm and sweet aroma to the brownies.

Prepare the Baking Tin

  • Line your baking tin with parchment paper. This prevents sticking and helps remove brownies easily.

Pour the Batter

  • Pour the brownie batter into the tin. Spread evenly with a spatula. Make sure the surface is smooth.

Bake the Brownies

  • Place the tin in a preheated oven at 180°C. Bake for 20–25 minutes. The top should look set but soft inside.

Cool the Brownies

  • Remove from oven and let them cool completely. This helps them set properly and makes cutting easier.

Slice and Serve

  • Cut into squares using a sharp knife. Serve and enjoy your rich and fudgy brownies.

Notes

  • Use high-quality chocolate for best flavor
  • Do not overbake for fudgy texture
  • Add nuts for crunch
  • Add chocolate chips for extra richness
  • Use brown sugar for deeper taste
  • Let brownies cool before cutting
