Homemade Raspberry Gummy Fruit Snacks Recipe is one of my favorite healthy treats. These little gummies are soft, fruity and naturally sweet.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup fresh raspberries
  • 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 3 tablespoons water
  • 2 tablespoons unflavored gelatin powder

Instructions
  

Blend the Raspberries

  • Add fresh raspberries to a blender. Blend until smooth and thick. This makes a bright red fruit puree. If you like smoother gummies, strain the puree to remove seeds.

Strain the Puree

  • Pour the blended raspberries through a fine mesh strainer. Press with a spoon to remove seeds. This step gives you a smooth texture. It also makes the gummies soft and pleasant to chew.

Heat the Mixture

  • Pour the raspberry puree into a small saucepan. Add honey and lemon juice. Stir gently. Heat on low for two to three minutes. Do not boil the mixture.

Bloom the Gelatin

  • In a small bowl, mix water and gelatin powder. Let it sit for five minutes. The gelatin will absorb water and become thick. This step helps create the chewy texture.

Combine Gelatin with Puree

  • Add the bloomed gelatin into the warm raspberry mixture. Stir slowly until fully dissolved. Make sure there are no lumps. The mixture should look smooth and glossy.

Pour into Molds

  • Carefully pour the mixture into silicone gummy molds. You can use a dropper for small shapes. Fill each cavity evenly. Work quickly before the mixture starts to set.

Chill Until Firm

  • Place the molds in the refrigerator for at least one hour. The gummies will become firm and springy. Once set, gently remove them from molds.

Store and Enjoy

  • Store the gummies in an airtight container. Keep them in the fridge. Enjoy them as a healthy snack anytime you want something sweet.

Notes

  • Use frozen raspberries if fresh ones are not available.
  • Add a little orange juice for extra flavor.
  • Replace honey with maple syrup for a vegan option.
  • Use strawberry or blueberry instead of raspberry.
  • Adjust sweetness according to your taste.
