  • Pork sausage meat 500 grams
  • Onion 1 small finely chopped
  • Garlic cloves 2 minced
  • Fresh sage 1 tablespoon chopped
  • Fresh thyme 1 teaspoon chopped
  • Breadcrumbs ½ cup
  • Egg 1 large
  • Salt ½ teaspoon
  • Black pepper ½ teaspoon
  • Egg yolk 1 for brushing

Prepare the Filling

  • Place sausage meat in a bowl. Add onion, garlic, herbs, breadcrumbs, salt, pepper, and egg. Mix gently until combined.

Chill the Mixture

  • Cover the bowl and chill filling for ten minutes. This helps flavors blend and makes shaping easier.

Prepare the Pastry

  • Lay puff pastry on a floured surface. Cut each sheet in half lengthwise using a sharp knife.

Shape the Sausage Meat

  • Divide filling into even portions. Roll each portion into a long log matching pastry length.
