Ingredients

  • 300 g bowtie pasta
  • 300 g minced beef
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 small onion chopped
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ½ cup pasta water
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

Cook the Pasta

  • Boil water in a large pot. Add salt and bowtie pasta. Cook until tender but firm. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking. Drain the pasta and save some pasta water.

Prepare the Beef

  • Heat olive oil in a pan. Add minced beef. Cook on medium heat. Break it apart with a spoon. Cook until brown and fully done.

Add Onion and Garlic

  • Add chopped onion and minced garlic to the beef. Cook for 3–5 minutes. Stir until the onion becomes soft and fragrant.

Season the Mixture

  • Add salt, pepper and Italian seasoning. Stir well so the spices mix evenly into the beef. This builds flavor.

Add Cream

  • Pour in the heavy cream slowly. Stir continuously. The sauce will start to become smooth and rich.

Add Parmesan Cheese

  • Add grated Parmesan cheese to the pan. Stir until it melts into the sauce. The sauce should become thick and creamy.

Adjust the Sauce

  • Add some reserved pasta water. This helps loosen the sauce. It also makes it silky and smooth.

Combine Pasta and Sauce

  • Add cooked pasta to the sauce. Toss gently so every piece is coated well. The bowtie shape holds the sauce nicely.

Simmer for Flavor

  • Let the pasta cook with the sauce for a few minutes. This helps the flavors blend together beautifully.

Garnish and Serve

  • Sprinkle fresh parsley on top. Serve hot and enjoy the creamy, garlicky goodness.

Notes

  • Use fresh garlic for stronger flavor
  • Add mushrooms for extra texture
  • Use ground chicken for a lighter version
  • Add chili flakes for slight heat
  • Use freshly grated Parmesan for best taste
  • Do not overcook pasta
