Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 4 large flour tortillas or wraps
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 small onion finely chopped
  • 4 tablespoons pickles sliced
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
  • 1 teaspoon white vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Prepare the Special Sauce

  • In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, vinegar and sugar. Stir until smooth. Taste and adjust sweetness or tang. This sauce is the heart of the wrap.

Cook the Beef

  • Heat a skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef and season with salt and pepper. Cook until browned, breaking it into small pieces. Drain excess fat if needed. The beef should be juicy and flavorful.

Warm the Wraps

  • Place the tortillas in a dry pan or microwave briefly. Warm wraps are soft and easier to roll. Avoid over-heating so they don’t tear.

Assemble the Wrap Base

  • Lay a tortilla flat. Spread a generous layer of special sauce. Add cooked beef evenly over the sauce. Place a slice of cheddar cheese on top while beef is warm. The cheese will melt slightly.

Add Fresh Ingredients

  • Sprinkle shredded lettuce over the cheese. Add chopped onions and pickle slices. Spread ingredients evenly. The fresh vegetables give crunch and balance.

Roll the Wrap

  • Fold the sides of the tortilla inward. Roll tightly from bottom to top. Make sure all ingredients are enclosed. Cut the wrap in half if desired for easier handling.

Serve and Enjoy

  • Place the wrap on a plate and serve immediately. Extra sauce can be drizzled on top. Pair with fries or a salad if desired. Enjoy the Big Mac flavor in every bite.

Notes

  • Use ground turkey or chicken for a lighter version.
  • Add avocado for creaminess and healthy fats.
  • Swap cheddar for Swiss or American cheese for flavor variation.
  • Use whole wheat or low-carb tortillas for a healthier wrap.
  • Grill the wrap briefly for a warm, crisp exterior.
