Does anyone else love mushrooms WAY to much? I know I do. I feel like they pair well with almost any type of food. However, no one else in my family will eat them so I normally don’t get to add them to my meals. These brown butter mushrooms are the perfect solution because I get to have my mushrooms as a side dish to any meal I want. The best part is, these mushrooms require less than four ingredients to make and you can whip them up in about 15 minutes.
Garlic Brown Butter Sauteed Mushrooms
- 1 pound Mushrooms preferrably baby bellas
- 1/4 cup Butter
- 3 cloves Minced Garlic
- 1 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
- 1/2 tsp Rosemary
- 1/2 tsp Thyme
- Salt and Pepper to taste
Slice mushrooms in half or quarter if your mushrooms are on the larger side.
Add the butter to a large skillet on medium heat and brown the butter until it turns a rich amber color stirring frequently. (About 3 to 5 minutes)
Add the garlic and cook for about 1 minute then add the worcestershire sauce, rosemary, and thyme.
Add the mushrooms to the sauce and season with salt and pepper to taste. Saute over medium high heat for 8 to 10 minutes until the mushrooms are fully cooked.
